The victim of the fatal suspected DUI crash that occurred in Stevenson Ranch early Saturday morning has been identified.

Steven Kirk, 22, was pronounced dead on scene following a single-vehicle traffic collision near the intersection of Pico Canyon Road and Stevenson Ranch Parkway, said Lt. David Smith with the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office.
Smith did not disclose where Kirk was from.
One person was taken into custody and alcohol is suspected to be a factor in the collision, said California Highway Patrol Officer Terrance Roach.
The collision was reported at approximately 2:18 a.m.

This article does not mention if the young man who passed is the person who was driving under the influence or if he was a passenger. This is common with KHTS news reports. I wish we could get more specific details. At least say that the police will not disclose.. but don’t leave us guessing.
I am very sorry for this young mans family. My prayers and condolences go out to you, and I hope that you find peace at the end of the journey.
