A dryer fire at a Valencia Salon prompted a response from firefighters Saturday morning.

Around 9:25 a.m. Saturday, first responders received reports of a dryer fire at KT Nail and Hair Salon on the 23100 block of Valencia Boulevard in Valencia, said Melanie Flores, a dispatch supervisor with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

When units arrived, they confirmed there was a dryer fire that was out, according to officials.

Crews remained on scene to clear smoke from the building, according to officials.
