UPDATED: Small Earthquake Felt In SCV
Gentle bouncing proves to be temblor.
A magnitude 4.5 earthquake centered two miles south/southwest of San Bernardino along the San Jacinto Fault shook the Southland at 7:49 p.m. Thursday, according to California Institute of Technology.
The quake, which was 10 miles below the surface, felt like a slow, bouncing motion in the Santa Clarita Valley.
No damage was reported, although residents reported they felt the motion throughout the area. Several aftershocks were reported in the San Bernardino area after the initial quake.
