Injury accident closes freeway, lanes slowly reopening.

Updated 10:21 a.m. Tuesday 

 

All lanes are now open on the northbound I-5 just south of Vista Del Lago Road.

The northbound lanes were completely closed shortly after 7 a.m. for the accident, where parties were trapped and Lifeflight units landed on the freeway to transport the injured. Traffic was backed up as far as the Newhall Pass.
