Real Life Church “360 Live”
When:  Friday, March 15 at 5:30pm and 7:30pm
Where:  Real Life Church, 23841 Newhall Ranch Road between Grandview and McBean
Details:  Real Life Church is holding 360 LIVE to give kids and parents a chance to come together.  The show will be filled with high energy, songs, dancing and a sketch team.  At each show an XBox will be given away.  Tickets for the Xbox drawing are $1 each, 10 for $8 or 20 for $15.  Tickets may be purchased at Real Life during office hours, Monday through Thursdays from 9am to 5pm or on the weekend.  For a half hour before the show there will be food trucks and live music.  For more information call 661-775-7401or online.  

Repertory East Playhouse “Boeing-Boeing”
When:  March 15 through April 13 with show times at 8pm on Fridays and Saturdays and 2pm on Sundays
Where:  Repertory East Playhouse, 24266 Main Street, Old Town Newhall
Details:  The non-stop comedy Boeing-Boeing is playing at Repertory East Playhouse. The comedy takes place in the 60s and follows a fun-loving and ‘swinging’ bachelor and his three stewardess fiancés.  Things go into overdrive when the new Boeing jet throws his detailed time schedule into shambles.  Tickets are available by calling 661-288-000 or online

SCVi “Vision in Education Dinner
When:  Saturday, March 16 from 6-11pm
Where:  Hyatt Regency Valencia, 24500 Town Center Drive (at McBean Parkway)
Details:  SCVi Charter School for International Learning  is honoring Marti Heinbaugh, Regional Manager of Mission Valley Bank during their Vision In Education Dinner.  The evening will include cocktails, dinner, dancing, live and silent auction, special guests, and more.  Call 661-705-4820 for more information or go online.

Soroptimist “Mischief & Malarkey”
When:  Sunday, March 17 starting at 10:30am

Golden Oak Adult School “TGI Jazz”

COC Healthy Lifestyle Resource Fair
When:  Wednesday, march 13 from 12:30pm to 2:30pm
Where:  College of the Canyons, Valencia campus – Honor Grove
Details:  College of the Canyons  is holding a Healthy Lifestyle Resource Fair that will include 20 groups and businesses that can help start or maintain healthy behavior to promote body-mind wellness.  There will be information on healthy eating, physical activity, stress management, health care, and social and community connections.  Free lunch and entry into a drawing for wellness prizes to everyone who visits at least ten tables/booths.  More information is available online.  

St. Clare Lenten Fish Fry
When:  Fridays from 4:30-8pm: March 1, 8, 15 and 22
Where:  St. Clare of Assisi, 19606 Calla Way, Canyon Country
Details:  St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Church is holding Fish Fries this Lenten season.  The dinners include beer battered Alaska cod, French fries or rice pilaf, homemade coleslaw, fresh rolls and coffee, tea or milk.  Dessert and other beverages are available for purchase.  Dinners are available for eat-in or take-out.  Prices are $8.50 for a 2-piece dinner and $9.50 for a 3-piece dinner.  All proceeds benefit the community programs for the needy. 

SCV Historical Society “St. Francis Dam Disaster”
When:  Saturday, March 16 starting at 11am
Where:  Meet at the Saugus Train Station at Heritage Junction.  
Details:  To commemorate the 85th anniversary of the second-worse natural disaster in California history, the Santa Clarita Valley Historical Society is hosting a tour of the St. Francis Dam site.  Frank Rock, an expert on St. Francis Dam will conduct the tour.  The tour starts with a short presentation.  Paid participants will then board a motor coach for the trip to the dam.  Read more in a story on KHTS website.  

Special Olympics Doubles Tennis Tournament
When:  Saturday, March 16 from 2-5:30pm
Where:  The Paseo Club, 27650 Dickason Drive (at Newhall Ranch Road)
Details:  Join in a fun afternoon with the Special Olympics Doubles Tennis Tournament all to benefit Special Olympics.  Each two hours of tennis will have awards, prizes and raffles.  The cost if $50 per player.  The Tournament is open to all ages and levels.  For more information call 661-253-2121.

Soroptimist Fiesta Poker Tournament
When:  Saturday, March 16 with 5pm registration
Where:  Valencia Summit Clubhouse, 24600 Del Monte Drive, Valencia
Details:  Soroptimist International of Greater Santa Clarita Valley is holding their 5th Annual Fiesta Poker Tournament. The top prize is a seat at the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas.  Other prizes include a flat screen television with Blu-Ray player and Apple iPad.  Buy-in is $100.  Spectator tickets are $35.  Tickets include appetizers and a drink.  The tournament will start at 6pm.  For more information call 661-373-0151 or online.
