Details: The City of Santa Clarita is celebrating the Earth with Earth Arbor Day Festival. Meet eco-minded artists, green businesses and ecologically concerned community groups sharing resources and education about green and healthy living. The kids will enjoy the eco-kid activities. Details: The City of Santa Clarita wants to know what we think. If you have thoughts on City issues, projects, programs or services, the City needs your input on how to communicate residents. The City is surveying to learn how residents want to be communicated with, when, where and on what types of issues. The surveys will be analyzed and used in the creation of a new public participation plan to be prepared later this year, in collaboration with us, the community. Repertory East Playhouse “Boeing-Boeing”

Details: The non-stop comedy Boeing-Boeing is playing at Repertory East Playhouse. The comedy takes place in the 60’s and follows a fun-loving and ‘swinging’ bachelor and his three stewardess fiancés. Details: Fast Frame Valencia is highlighting the art exhibit “Rock Culture: A Girl’s Obsession With All Things Geological”. Artist Laurie Beth Finkelstein creates work that “borders on abstract by way of composition and placement of edges”. This series focuses on rocks and boulders. The Reception will be on Saturday from 1-4pm. The exhibit will be on display at Fast Frame Valencia until April 30.
WiSH Education Foundation “Wine Tasting Event”

Details: The WiSH Education Foundation is holding “A Toast and a WiSH: A Benefit for the Future Leaders of Santa Clarita. The event features Library Wines, visiting guest vintners, spirits and beer brewers, food pairings, and silent auction. One hundred percent of ticket sales and auction directly supports programs in all the Junior and High schools that are part of the Hart School District. KHTS 4th Annual SCV Home & Garden Show

Details: The KHTS 4th Annual SCV Home & Garden Show and Emergency Expo are coming back to town. The Home & Garden show is a two-day event featuring free admission, free parking, a wide-variety of exhibitors, drawings, special offers and freebies, presentation and demonstrations, RV show, Kid’s Zone and more. Take part in the PassPort program to win prizes. On Saturday the KHTS Emergency Expo, in cooperation with the City of Santa Clarita and Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital will take place in the parking lot. The Emergency Expo will have over 60 exhibitors with products, services and information on emergency prevention, preparedness, survival and recovery. The Expo will have emergency vehicles and equipment from fire departments, law enforcement, search & rescue groups, and utility companies. Santa Clarita Swap Meet “Golden Anniversary Party”

Where: Santa Clarita Swap Meet, 22500 Soledad Canyon Road
Details: The Santa Clarita Swap Meet is celebrating their “Golden Anniversary” with a 50th Birthday Party. KHTS will be broadcasting live to showcase the celebration. The 60s dance band “Retro Station” will be performing. There will be prize giveaways and a contest to win a new 42-inch HD Flat Screen T.V. Local elementary school choirs will be performing. Cowboy Couture – One of the Kick Off Events to Cowboy Festival

Details: Cowboy Couture is a “Western inspired, big city, cowboy infused premiere fashion event” that is one of the kick off events for the Santa Clarita Cowboy Festival. Rancho Camulos “Sourdough Slim Concert” – A Kick-Off Event to the SC Cowboy Festival

Details: “Entertainer extraordinaire and the last of the vaudeville cowboys, Sourdough Slim performs in the Will Roger’s tradition”. Tickets are $55 and include a Southwest Vaquero buffet, concert and costumed docent-led tours. Santa Clarita Dodger Day-Deadline coming, purchase tickets now

Details: This year marks the 36th annual City of Santa Clarita Dodger Day. The Dodgers will be playing the Milwaukee Brewers. The first 40,000 fans will get a Dodgers sports bag. Mail-in orders must be postmarked April 10. The last day to purchase tickets at the Aquatic Center is Wednesday, April 17 at noon, or until quantities last.
