    By now you’ve probably heard about the lawsuit in Arizona between the U.S. Forest Service and a group of recreational users over the Coronado National Forest.

    The basic premise is that national forests belong to the people of the United States, and as such, the people should not be charged fees to park and recreate there.

    Forest Service Reports Equipment Theft At Texas Canyon Station

    Over $40,000 worth of equipment was stolen from storage containers at the Forest Service Texas Canyon Station near Santa Clarita early this week, according to the U.S. Forest Service. The stolen items include about 30 chainsaws, four generators, an arc welder, and a variety of hand tools.
