SCV Habitat for Heroes

Veterans Receive A Helping Hand From Local SCV Organizations

Habitat for Humanity San Fernando/Santa Clarita Valleys is currently attending the California Department of Veteran Affairs’ Conference on Women Veterans in San Diego this September 26– 28 to display art from the female family members of the veteran families soon to live in phase one of the SCV Habitat for Heroes 87-home community on Centre Pointe.

Sue Reynolds, Super-Volunteer, Is A Santa Clarita Unsung Hero

    Mercedes-Benz of Valencia

Sue Reynolds of NewMarket CareersBy Stephen K. Peeples

As a senior partner with Valencia-based NewMarket Careers, Sue Reynolds is an accomplished small business owner who helps Santa Clarita Valley employees and the companies who need them find each other.

But outside her role as a mover and shaker in the Santa Clarita business community, Reynolds is a super-volunteer, although she would never refer to herself that way. She’s more comfortable with something like “professional busybody.”

The Newhall resident devotes untold hours to a wide range of local nonprofit organizations and service groups. She’s involved with myriad women’s issues, business education, veterans’ issues, the Boy Scouts, animal training for therapy and search and rescue, and much more.

That’s why Sue Reynolds is KHTS’s latest Santa Clarita Unsung Hero, brought to you by Mercedes-Benz of Valencia.
