    Valencia High Student Wins Sister Cities National Essay Contest

    A Valencia High School student and a young artist from Santa Clarita's sister city Sariaya in the Philippines have both placed in the Sister Cities International Young Authors and Artists Showcase. The entries are on display at the Valencia Library.

    SCVi and SCV International Program Plan Foreign Exchange Trip To India

    Santa Clarita Valley students and residents are invited to join Santa Clarita Valley International Charter School and the Santa Clarita Valley International Program for a tour of India in October 2014. There are limited spots available. In October 2014, several junior high and high school students will join facilitators from SCVi and officials with SCVIP on a “Best of the West and Best of the East” exchange trip to India. SCVIP partners with Pinegrove School in the state of Himachal Pradesh in India, ranked one of the country’s top ten schools.

    Typhoon Haiyan Victims To Receive Aid From Sister Cities Program

    Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines has killed more than 4,000 people and left millions without basic necessities like food, water or shelter. The Santa Clarita Valley International Program is collecting donations to send aid.

    COC Students Participate In Global Collaboration Project For Nicaragua

    COC honor students and board members from the Santa Clarita Valley International Program will be traveling to Granada, Nicaragua June 5-10 to install a water tank at Miravalle School. The project is a culmination of several years of study and fundraising.
