    Los Angeles County fire fighters made quick work of a brush fire that broke out Tuesday afternoon in the vicinity of Whites Canyon Road and Via Princessa in Canyon Country.

    UPDATED: Structure Fire Reported In Canyon Country

    A structure fire reported at Siam Rice in Canyon Country is under control and no other structures are threatened, according to inspector Quvondo Johnson with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

    "The restaurant suffered significant damage, so it will not be opened for business for a cosiderable amount of time," said John Tripp, Chief Deputy of Los Angeles Country Fire.

    Fire officials are currently conducting an investigation on the cause of the blaze and "mopping up" the fire.
