Instead of studying the Civil War in a textbook, 8th grade learners at SCVi Charter School created their own Civil War Living History at Rancho Camulos on Thursday. They staged mock battles and sold handmade souvenirs.
Instead of taking tests and writing papers about the Civil War, 8th graders at SCVi Charter School are hosting a living history event at Rancho Camulos on May 22, complete with battles, traditional dances and souvenirs for sale.
