30 homes were destroyed in the Powerhouse Fire as well as 28 outbuildings. It is 84 percent contained, and is not expected to grow any further. The total cost of the operation has risen to $20 million.
The Powerhouse Fire is now 78 percent contained, but 53 structures have been lost, including 24 homes. State and County officials are requesting a state of emergency be declared, which will open the doors to further assistance.
