Hundreds of people will dive into Castaic Lake’s chilly waters on Mar. 2, to raise funds for local Special Olympics athletes. Castaic Lions Club will provides a pancake breakfast starting at 8:30 a.m. with registration. The Plunge will take place at 10 a.m. sharp.
“Our ocean and lakes have frigid March waters so brave souls can cross this off their bucket list and raise money for Special Olympics at the same time,” said Bill Shumard, President & CEO of Special Olympics Southern California.
