    Golden Valley Girls Golf Team Off To 3-0 Start In Foothill League

    The Golden Valley girls golf team is officially on a roll after winning its third Foothill League match in a row.

    Golden Valley won the league match by seven strokes over West Ranch, 191-198, at the El Cariso Golf Club in Sylmar.

    The Master's College Women's Volleyball Team Wins Five-Game Thriller

    The Master’s College women’s volleyball team beat Westmont in five games. Both teams are ranked in the NAIA top 25.

    The Lady Mustangs, ranked No. 21 in the NAIA, won the fifth game, 17-15. Westmont is the 10th-ranked team in the NAIA.

    Hart Football Team No. 1 In CIF Poll; Canyon Drops To No. 8

    The Hart football team remained as the No. 1 team in the CIF Southern Section Northern Division poll. The Indians have been No. 1 for six weeks in a row.

    The Canyon football team took a big hit, dropping from No. 2 to No. 8.

    Golden Valley Girls Golf Team Wins Second Foothill League Match In A Row

    The Golden Valley girls golf team made it two in a row, winning the second Foothill League match of the season.

    The Grizzlies shot 235 as a team at Elkins Ranch in Fillmore, 10 strokes ahead of West Ranch.

    The Master's College Men's Soccer Team Wins First Game Of The Season

    The Master’s College men’s soccer team won its first game of the season, 3-2, over Bethesda University.

    The Mustangs scored three goals in the second half to win the game. Bethesda had a 2-0 lead at halftime.

    The Golden Valley girls golf team won the first Foothill League match at El Cariso Golf Course in Sylmar.

    The Golden Valley girls won the match by six strokes over Valencia. The Grizzlies shot 188 as a team.

    COC Women's Soccer Team Takes Down Taft, 3-2

    The College of the Canyons women’s soccer team beat Taft College, 3-2, scoring three goals in the first half.

    Stacey Atwater had a goal and an assist for the Lady Cougars.

    Lizzie Rivas scored a goal in the seventh minute to give COC a 1-0 lead. Kelsey Sherry made it 2-0 for COC with a goal in the 16th minute.

    West Ranch Football Team Wins A Close One Against Knight

    The West Ranch football team, ranked No. 7 in the CIF Southern Section Northern Division, narrowly beat Knight, 20-13, on the road in Palmdale.

    The Wildcats took a 20-0 lead in the first half and the defense intercepted two passes in the game. West Ranch held Knight to just 99 yards of total offense in the game.

    The Wildcats are undefeated at 3-0 to start the season.

    College Of The Canyons Women's Soccer Team Shuts Out Golden West

    The College of the Canyons women’s soccer team shut out Golden West College, 2-0.

    Leilani Konrad scored both goals for the Lady Cougars. She scored her first goal in the second minute of the game. Her second game came in the 72nd minute.

    COC goalkeeper Katherine Koury made four saves to record the shutout. The COC women improved to 3-1.
