The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department wants to make sure parents are educating their children about the safest ways to walk to and from school, how to avoid bullying and what to do if a stranger approaches them.

For those citizens who have a tip or information about a crime and want to help, but fear retaliation, Los Angeles Regional Crime Stoppers allows them to submit their tip anonymously. The service is free to residents and law enforcement.
