Drew Wolitarsky, the record-setting receiver from Canyon High School, will continue his football career in college at the University of Minnesota.
Wolitarsky broke two California state records in receiving. He became the state leader in receptions and receiving yards, breaking the marks set by Steve Smith, a receiver with the St. Louis Rams who played at Taft High School in Woodland Hills.
Wolitarsky is the second football player from the Foothill League headed to the Big 10. Leon Jacobs from Golden Valley verbally committed to the University of Wisconsin to play linebacker.
