    Wilk Talks About Special Health Care Session In State Legislature

    Assemblyman Scott Wilk, R-Santa Clarita, spoke to KHTS on Friday about his impressions of a special legislative session called by Gov. Jerry Brown to address potential obstacles to implementing the Affordable Health Care Act.

    Also known as Obamacare, the sweeping health care reforms will transform the landscape of how Americans pay for their health provisions.

    Providence Tarzana Announces Partnership With Children's Hospital

    Hospital executives with Providence Tazana Medical Center and Children's Hopsital Los Angeles issued the following statement Tuesday, regarding a newly formed partnership that is expected to impact pediatric health care in the Santa Clarita Valley:

    "We are very pleased to announce that Providence Tarzana Medical Center and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles have reached a formalized agreement to work together to enhance the outstanding level of pediatric care for children and families living in the San Fernando Valley and surrounding communities.
