The Every 15 Minutes program at Canyon High School on Thursday gave students a stark reminder of the consequences for driving under the influence or making reckless choices. A fatal traffic collision was staged on Nadal Street in front of the school.
"Every 15 Minutes," the program sponsored by the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Station, is coming to Canyon High School on Thursday to teach students about the dangers of distracted or impaired driving.
No text message is as important as a life. Oct. 20 through 26 is National Teen Driver Safety Week. The California Highway Patrol, Office of Traffic Safety Administration and Impact Teen Drivers are sponsoring the campaign.
On Thursday, Feb. 21, the City of Santa Clarita, the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station and Hart High School officials will join in partnership to conduct the Every 15 Minutes program at Hart High School.
