    Santa Clarita Library Offers Free Events During September

    Santa Clarita Public Library officials will be offering free educational learning events throughout the month of September as all residents are welcome to sign up and join a variety of interactive programs.

    Circle Of Hope Offers Dozens Of Wines For Vine 2 Wine Event

    Circle of Hope’s 13th annual Vine 2 Wine Classic officials posted a list of some of the wines offered at the Santa Clarita Valley’s premiere wine event, which will accompany dozens of beers and food offerings, event organizers said. CalArts’ campus is transforming into the place to be from 6:30-10:30 p.m. on Aug. 16, said Ray Tippet, executive director for the Circle of Hope. On the Circle of Hope’s Facebook page, the nonprofit’s volunteers gave a sneak peak at a few of the vineyards offering unlimited tastings as part of the $75 presale or $95 at the gate ticket, including: Opolo Vineyards; J. Lohr Vineyards & Wines; Aqua Dulce Winery;Bridlewood Estate Winery; Clayhouse Wines; Dry Creek Vineyard; Eberle Winery; Francoli USA; Golden Star Vineyards & Winery; Hug Cellars; J&J Cellars; Kiamie Wine Cellars; Champagne Lanson; Lucy Wines; Rob Murray Vineyards; Nuggucciet Cellars; Nadeau Family Vintners; Pulchella Winery and Tasting Room; Quady Winery; Reyes Winery; Riverstar Vineyards; Shannon Ridge Winery; Tolo Cellars; Tackitt Family Vineyards; and William Hill Estate Winery.

    Santa Clarita Honors Marathon Volunteers At City Hall

    The city of Santa Clarita recognized key volunteers for their contributions to the Santa Clarita Marathon, publicly thanking many active Santa Clarita Runners Club Members (SCR) on Tuesday during the City Council Meeting. 

    Key contributors, including SCRs Jen Brickner, Heather DeCordova, Linda Burrows, Pat Downing and Phil and Paola Howard, were invited and honored by Mayor Bob Kellar, on behalf of the City of Santa Clarita.
