California continues to have the nation’s largest number of summer drowning tragedies.
The Castaic boy found by his parents in a washing machine on Wednesday is in the hospital in stable condition. No arrests have been made in this case, and detectives are currently investigating the incident.
Many kids spend their summer by sleeping in till noon, playing video games, or going to football practice. A special group of kids spend their summer learning how to save lives.
More than 75 Junior lifeguards will be participating in a training class at the Santa Clarita Aquatics Center on Tuesday.
