Permits for Disney's Golden Oak Ranch expansion project in Placerita Canyon were approved by the county Board of Supervisors. They also voted Tuesday to put a cross back on the county seal. The motion was met with mixed reactions.

County Supervisors Michael Antonovich and Don Knabe are motioning to have the Christian cross put back on the county seal to reflect a recent restoration at the San Gabriel Mission. The cross was recently put back on the roof of the mission.
