    Dozens of children cheered as the Boys and Girls Club accepted a check for $10,000 from the Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems Friday.

    Longtime club supporter Congressman Buck McKeon and NGAS President Tom Vice presented the award to Jim Ventress, chief professional officer at the Boys and Girls Club in front of children eager to ask questions about the aerospace industry.

    Congressman Howard “Buck” McKeon voted Friday for H.R. 1765, the Reducing Flight Delays Act. It passed by a vote of 361-41. H.R. 1765 allows the Secretary of Transportation to transfer $253 million between the FAA's Operations account.

    Washington- Today, Rep. Howard P. "Buck" McKeon Chairman of the House Armed Services Committee addressed his colleagues on the subject of passing a Continuing Resolution to fund the federal government through fiscal year 2013.
