    City Hall Hosts Vendor Outreach Event For Local Businesses

    If you’re a business owner interested in learning how you can do business with the City of Santa Clarita, City Hall will be hosting a Vendor Outreach event on Wednesday, March 20 from 9 to 11 a.m. in the Council Chambers.

    Santa Clarita City Council Extends Homeless Shelter's Lease

    With a unanimous vote, Santa Clarita City Council members voted to extend the lease with Bridge to Home for its emergency winter shelter Tuesday at City Hall.

    “It was a (4-0) vote to allow the homeless shelter to allow the shelter to be at the Drayton Street location for the next three years,” said Councilman TimBen Boydston.

    There was also a concern, which was brought up by Councilwoman Marsha McLean, and seconded by Boydston, that the shelter’s lease left it subject to cancellation without City Council approval.

    City of Santa Clarita Announces Vendor Outreach Program For Local Businesses

    The City Santa Clarita is hoping to encourage the local economy and give local businesses all the tools to do business with the city at their Vendor Outreach event on March 20, from 9 and 11 a.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall.

    Santa Clarita Officials Plan Look At Homeless Shelter Contract

    Where the Santa Clarita Valley’s homeless population can stay and city input on breaking up Los Angeles County were two items that’ll be placed on the City Council’s agenda, after Tuesday night’s council meeting at City Hall.

    “We’re going to look at (the Santa Clarita Valley Emergency Winter Shelter) and see whether we’re going to have them extend their stay or move from the existing location,” said Councilman TimBen Boydston. 

    Canyon Country Advisory Committee Meeting Will Be Held Wednesday

    The next Canyon Country Advisory Committee Meeting will be held Wednesday Jan. 16 from 7 P.M. to 9 P.M. at the Mint Canyon Moose Family Center Banquet Room in Canyon Country.

    The Meeting is open to the public free of charge.
