    Domestic Violence Center To Host 'Stop Bullying' Workshop In Canyon Country

    To help parents understand bullying, the effects it has their child and available resources, City of Santa Clarita staff and Domestic Violence Center volunteers are holding a free "Stop Bullying!" workshop at the Canyon Country Community Center on June 11.

    The Child and Family Center in Santa Clarita is holding "Parenting Teens and Tweens" workshop at the Canyon Country Community Center from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The event is free and open to the public.

    Zonta Club Awards Community Grants, Recognizes Zontian Of The Year

    The Zonta Club of the Santa Clarita Valley granted several awards during their monthly business meeting on Wednesday, May 8. They honored several non-profits, two outstanding students and the new Zontian of the Year.

    SCV Taste Of The Town Adds More Vendors

    The Child & Family Center of Santa Clarita has added four new exhibitors to its 25th Taste of the Town event, to be held on Sunday, May 5 from 1-5pm at Mann Biomedical Park in Valencia. The event will feature 40 of Santa Clarita’s best restaurants, caterers, and wine and beer sellers, all offering samples of their food and spirits.

    Among the newly announced vendors who will be serving samples of their menu fare are Sisley Italian Kitchen, Jersey Mike’s Subs, Reyes Winery, and Nana’s Banana Bread.
