    Relay For Life Survivor's Luncheon Held At Westfield Valencia Town Center

    At least a hundred supporters and cancer survivors at Westfield Valencia Town Center in preparation for Santa Clarita's 15th annual Relay for Life, sponsored by the American Cancer Society. SCV's Relay is the largest in Southern California.

    12th Annual 'Fight It!' Race To Raise Money For Brenda Mehling Cancer Fund

    The Brenda Mehling Cancer Fund is hoping to raise money for young adults battling cancer, with their 12th annual “Fight It!” Race at Central Park on Saturday, May 11.  Check-in on the day of the race opens at 7 a.m. The Fun Run will begin at 7:30 a.m. and the 5k/10k at 8 a.m.

    Over 6,000 people celebrated Santa Clarita’s 24th Earth Arbor Day Saturday in Central Park by creating crafts, playing games and learning how to stay green at various informational booths.

    Elementary, junior high and high school students from across the Santa Clarita Valley will have an opportunity to win a prize by presenting their environmentally themed science projects to the community, during the fourth annual College of the Canyons Environmental Science Fair being held Wednesday, April 10.
