Santa Clarita Valley residents will have a chance to meet the new Sheriff’s Station captain Wednesday at Starbucks on Golden Valley Road in Canyon Country. Capt. Roosevelt Johnson, a longtime Santa Clarita Valley resident, is hosting a series of public outreach meetings called Coffee with the Captain at each “zone” in the Santa Clarita Valley. The Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station’s Crime Prevention Unit, which is essentially patrol division of the station, created eight zones for the Santa Clarita Valley.
