Newly-elected California Assembly Member Scott Wilk (AD38) will be honored at a reception at the College of the Canyons in Valencia on Friday, january 11, 2013 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. The event will be hosted by Santa Clarita Community College Chancellor Dr. Dianne Van Hook and the District Board of Trustees.
Wilk, an outgoing COC board member, will be honored by college faculty and administrators, as well as Santa Clarita community leaders and many of Wilk's friends, family and supporters.
Assemblyman Scott Wilk (R-Santa Clarita) has been appointed by Republican Leader Connie Conway to serve as a member of the Assembly Republican leadership team for the 2013-14 legislative session.
