"Stump The Politician" Airs Thursday On KHTS

Assemblyman Cameron Smyth will field questions from local school
children.

On Thursday afternoon at 4:00
p.m., KHTS AM-1220 will broadcast a live installment of “Stump the
Politician.”

The program, sponsored by the Southern California Gas
Company, brings elected officials face to face with local school children who
try to stump them with their pre-conjured questions.

On Thursday, Santa Clarita’s representative in the state Assembly Cameron Smyth will be the target of questions ranging from; “What’s the
best part of your job,” to “How tall is the state capitol building?”

The students posing the questions will hail from Sulphur
Springs School District’s
Golden Oak
Community School.

Stump the Politician will air for one hour on AM-1220 KHTS,
from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., however it will be made available as a podcast on
hometownstation.com shortly afterwards.
