Stolen Weed Whackers Lead To Fight

BREAKING NEWS UPDATE: Deputies find no evidence of stabbing.
Image Deputies responded Thursday around 2 p.m. to a stabbing call in the 22900 block of Pamplico Drive, in which a male Hispanic was reportedly a victim. 

 

Based on witness details,  it was believed that the victim, along with a female, stole weedwhackers  out of the back of a gardening truck. Two gardeners reportedly caught the perpetrators and started an altercation in which one of the alleged thieves was believed  to have been stabbed.

 

After an investigation, Sheriff's officials found no evidence that an actual stabbing occurred.

Deputies are calling all four individuals (the two gardeners and the two thieves) suspects.

 

The gardeners were driving an older model black Toyota pickup truck with one or two lawnmowers in the back.

 

The other two are reportedly driving a burgundy Chevy Astro van with its back window shattered.
