Sepulveda Fire - Knocked Down

Firefighters achieved knockdown on the fire that burned 150 acres near the Getty Museum in the Sepulveda Pass this morning.

The Sepulveda Pass was shut down both directions on the 405 freeway throughout the early morning due to a fire that started shortly before 1 a.m. The freeway is now re-opened. An evacuation center has been set up near the Getty Museum.
More than 400 firefighters battled the blaze, protecting the museum and nearby Mt. St. Mary's College.
