    Music Therapy For Regionalized Autism Program

    SDC (Special Education) students in Saugus Union School District’s Regionalized Autism Program who cannot participate in PTA’s school activities such as field trips, assemblies, Reading Night and other fun events at school have been participating in Music Therapy.

    Santa Clarita City Hosts First Public Outreach Workshop On October 23

    On October 23, 2013, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., the City of Santa Clarita will host the first public outreach workshop to discuss the Soledad Canyon Corridor Plan, which will help guide future development and uses within the commercial corridor area.

    Football, blues and honoring college alumni and friends—that’s what College of the Canyons’ Homecoming Weekend is all about.

    The Homecoming Weekend will include the induction of the 2013 Outstanding Alumni & Friends into the college’s Alumni Hall of Fame, a special pre-show reception for the Official Blues Brothers Revue show at the Santa Clarita Performing Arts Center (PAC) and a tailgate party to celebrate the Cougar football team’s homecoming game.

    Call For Entries: College Of The Canyons To Host 14th Annual New Works Festival

    Playwrights from the Santa Clarita Valley and beyond are invited to submit their new and original plays, single acts, scenes and monologues for the 14th Annual New Works Festival (NWF) at College of the Canyons.

    The NWF is a playwright development process and festival open to writers, students and community members of all ages. Considered pieces must be original works submitted by the original writer.

    City Receives Grant Funding From The Environmental Enhancement And Mitigation Program

    The City of Santa Clarita received a $350,000 grant from the California Natural Resources Agency this month as part of the Environmental Enhancement and Mitigation Grant Program (EEMP) for the Southern Boundary Wildlife Corridor Conservation project.

    Enjoy SRE PTO's annual Wrangler Round Up for an afternoon of family fun. The community is invited to enjoy family activities, face painting, and several carnival food and games. Children are also invited to pan for gold and dare to stick on the Velcro Wall. There will also be a Chili Cook-Over and Cookie Bake-Off. Parents are invited to participate in the Silent Auction.
