The Hart football team moved up a couple spots in the CIF Southern Section West Valley Division poll. The Valencia football team held steady.
Hart is ranked No. 6 after an impressive, 57-35, win over Santiago Corona on Friday night. Hart has won three games in a row and is 3-2.
Valencia is No. 4 after shutting out Santa Monica, 35-0. The Vikings are 3-1.
Tesoro is the No. 1 team in the West Valley Division.

The Trinity Classical Academy football team is ranked No. 3 in the Southern Section Division 2 8-man poll. Trinity beat Animo Robinson, 46-14, to improve to 3-1.
In girls volleyball, Valencia is ranked No. 5 in the CIF Southern Section Division 1A poll.
Santa Clarita Christian is No. 2 in Division 5AA. The Trinity Classical Academy girls are ranked No. 9 in Division 5AA.

The Hart volleyball team won the Royal Tournament downing Stockdale, 2-0, in the championship match.
Setter Erin Indermill was the tournament MVP. Corrine Holloway and Lexi Chabiniak were selected to the all-tournament team.
In high school cross country, the Saugus girls won the Roy Griak Invitational in Minnesota.
Samantha Ortega won the 5K race in 18 minutes, 13.8 seconds.
The Saugus boys finished in third place. Brian Zabilski was 14th in the boys race in 16 minutes, 31.96 seconds.

In college soccer, Natasha Coyle from The Master’s College was selected as the Golden State Athletic Conference’s player of the week.
She scored a hat trick in her team’s 5-0 win over Westmont, the No. 2 ranked team in the NAIA.
Coyle has six goals in nine games for The Master’s College. The Lady Mustangs are 6-2-1.
