Santa Clarita Sports: Santa Clarita Update May 30, 2014

The Los Angeles Kings have another chance to knock the Chicago Blackhawks out of the playoffs and advance to the NHL Stanley Cup Final.

The Kings lost to the Blackhawks, 5-4, in double overtime in Game 5 of the Western Conference finals.

The Kings hold a 3-2 lead in the series. Game 6 is at Staples Center tonight.

Los Angeles Sports Report

In the major leagues, the Los Angeles Dodgers lost to the visiting Pittsburgh Pirates, 6-3. It was the second loss in a row for the Dodgers.

Yasiel Puig doubled twice and raised his batting average to .348.

Game 2 of the series between the Dodgers and the Pirates is tonight. Josh Beckett is making his first start since throwing his no-hitter against the Phillies last week.
