The Valencia and West Ranch baseball teams won their Foothill League games on Wednesday and created a four-way tie for first place.
Valencia, West Ranch, Hart and Saugus are tied with 7-3 records atop the Foothill League standings.
Valencia shut out Saugus, 5-0, scoring three runs in the sixth inning to pull away in the game.
Valencia starter Kevin Chandler tossed complete game, two-hitter.

The West Ranch baseball team beat Hart, 4-3, scoring three runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to win the game.
Davis LeBarron delivered the big blow for West Ranch with a two-run single in the seventh inning.
Jake Bird went the distance for the Wildcats giving up three runs on four hits and striking out 11.

The Canyon baseball team beat Golden Valley, 11-3, and won its second Foothill League game of the season.
Golden Valley dropped to 0-10 in the Foothill League.
In high school volleyball, the Valencia boys swept Canyon in three games and improved to 8-0 in the Foothill League.
Valencia clinched at least a share of the Foothill League championship. The Vikings have won 13 of the past 14 league titles.

In the NHL, the Kings completed the comeback, winning Game 7 of the opening round series of the Stanley Cup playoffs, 5-1, over the San Jose Sharks.
The Kings were down 3-0 and won the next four games in a row to win the series. Only three other teams in NHL have won a seven-game series after being down 3-0.
The Kings will play the Ducks in the second round of the Stanley Cup playoffs. Game 1 is on Saturday.
In the major leagues, the Dodgers beat the Minnesota Twins, 6-4. Juan Uribe knocked in two runs for the Dodgers. Starter Zack Greinke improved to 5-0. The Dodgers won their 10,000th game in franchise history.
The Dodgers and Twins are scheduled to play a doubleheader today. Dan Haren will start the first game for the Dodgers against Mike Pelfrey for the Twins.
First pitch is at 10:10 this morning.
