The Master’s College women’s basketball team beat La Sierra College, 95-50, and won their seventh game in a row.
Megan Lindsley scored 20 points, made five 3-pointers and had five assists all off the bench for the Lady Mustangs.
The Master’s College women, ranked No. 12 in the NAIA, improved to 12-3.

The Lady Mustangs open Golden State Athletic Conference play against Hope International on Tuesday.

In high school soccer, the Canyon girls shut out Lancaster, 2-0, and won their third game in a row. Vanessa Quintero had a goal and an assist for Canyon. She assisted on Canyon’s first goal by Sarah Cipperley in the first half.
Quintero gave her team a 2-0 lead in the second half with her eighth goal of the season.
Canyon improved to 8-4-2.
In high school basketball, the Golden Valley boys narrowly escaped with a 61-59 win over Trinity Classical Academy.
Trinity’s Ryan Brooks scored a game-high 16 points. Trinity has played three teams from the Foothill League and has lost all three games. They lost to Canyon in December and Valencia on Tuesday.
Golden Valley opens the Foothill League season against Canyon on Tuesday.
The Canyon girls lost to Serra, 77-27, in the semifinals of the Fairfax tournament. Canyon plays for third-place in the tournament on Saturday.
Los Angeles Sports Report
In the NHL, the Kings beat the visiting Boston Bruins, 4-2. The Kings have won two of their past three games, but are 2-6 in the past eight.
The Detroit Red Wings are in town for a game against the Kings on Saturday night.
