    Santa Clarita Sports: Valencia Baseball Rallied And Now Tied In First

    The Valencia baseball team is on a roll and tied for first place in the Foothill League standings.

    The Vikings beat Hart, 10-6, and won its sixth Foothill League game in a row.

    Valencia jumped out to an 8-1 lead in the second inning. Chad Bible was 3-for-3 with a home run and scored four runs. Hunter Holland hit a three-run home run in the second inning.

    The Vikings collected 13 hits in the game.

    Santa Clarita Sports: West Ranch Softball First Place In Foothill League

    The West Ranch softball team beat Saugus, 2-1, and is in sole possession of first place in the Foothill League standings.

    The Wildcats scored a run in the sixth inning to tie the score, 1-1. They took the lead in the seventh inning to win the game.

    West Ranch is 3-0 in the Foothill League. Saugus dropped to 2-1.

    The Valencia softball team shut out Canyon, 12-0. The Vikings scored eight runs in the second inning to take a 9-0 lead.

    Santa Clarita Sports: West Ranch And Saugus Softball Battle For First Place

    The West Ranch and Saugus softball teams meet today in a battle for first place in the Foothill League standings.

    West Ranch and Saugus are tied for first place with 2-0 records. West Ranch is coming off a 9-4 win over Canyon. Saugus beat Hart in its last game, 12-1.

    The game is at Saugus. First pitch is at 3:15.

    Santa Clarita Sports: Hart Baseball In First Place After Win Over Rival

    The Hart baseball team made quick work of Canyon to stay in first place in the Foothill League standings.

    Hart scored five runs in the first inning and cruised to a 7-2 win over Canyon.

    Dayton Provost hit a home run and scored two runs for Hart. Cody Miller went 2-for-3, drove in two runs and extended his hitting streak to seven games.

    Hart is all alone in first place in the Foothill League with a 6-1 record. Canyon dropped to 1-6.

    Santa Clarita Sports: West Ranch Softball Comes From Behind To Beat Canyon

    The West Ranch softball team needed a come-from-behind victory over Canyon to win its second Foothill League game of the season.

    West Ranch beat Canyon, 9-4, scoring six runs in the sixth inning to take the lead.

    Canyon was up 1-0 in the first inning and increased its lead to 4-2 in the third inning.

    West Ranch improved to 2-0 in the Foothill League. Canyon dropped to 1-1.

    Santa Clarita Sports: Valencia Baseball Wins Four In A Row In Dramatic Fashion

    The Valencia baseball team pulled off the comeback of the season against West Ranch and won its fourth Foothill League game in a row.

    The Vikings scored six runs in the seventh inning to win the game, 7-6.

    Devin Davis knocked in the winning run with a two-out double. He was 3-for-5 in the game and scored two runs.

    Santa Clarita Sports: The Master's College Baseball Wins 5 Straight

    The Master’s College baseball team beat Bethesda, 9-3, and won its fifth game in a row.

    The Mustangs, ranked No. 12 in the NAIA, scored three runs in the first inning and built a 7-1 lead in the third inning. Bethesda is ranked No. 17 in the NAIA.

    Brian Richardson Sweeps Monster Night At Kern Raceway

    Brian Richardson kicked off the NASCAR CITGO Lubricants Late Model season in a big way, sweeping both 35 lap features at Bakersfield's Kern County Raceway Park during Monster Energy Night. The NASCAR Whelen All-American Series opener also saw wins by Chris Dalton, Brandon Weaver, and Tyler Bannister.

    Santa Clarita Sports: Hart And West Ranch Baseball Move Up In CIF Poll

    The Hart and West Ranch baseball teams moved up a notch in the CIF Southern Section Division 1 poll.

    West Ranch is ranked No. 4. The Wildcats take on Valencia in a Foothill League game on Wednesday.

    Hart moved up to No. 5. The Indians play Canyon on Wednesday.

    The Santa Clarita Christian baseball team is No. 1 in the Southern Section Division 7 poll for the third week in a row.

    Saugus Track And Field Sets Second Fastest Time In Nation

    The Hart baseball team went 2-1 in the Bishop Gorman Easter Classic tournament.

    The Indians beat Blessed Trinity from Georgia, 3-1, and Page from Arizona, 9-0, in the first two games. They lost to Riverton from Utah, 10-9, in their third game.

    Nick Valaika was 2-for-3 with an RBI against Blessed Trinity. He was 2-for-3 with a double, two RBIs and scored three runs against Page.
