    SCV Worksource Hosts Free Workshop

    The Santa Clarita WorkSource, in partnership with Goodwill Southern California and the Employment Development Department, offer four new workshops at their career resource center.  The “Identity Theft” workshop will be given in English and Spanish.  The English version will be held on Monday, July 17, 2006 from 10:00 a.m.

    LOS ANGELES - The Los Angeles Kings have agreed to terms on a two-year contract with
    unrestricted free agent defenseman Rob Blake, it was announced today by Kings
    President/General Manager Dean Lombardi.  Per club policy, terms of the agreement
    were not announced. 

    "Rob Blake is a special player and more importantly a special person," said
    Lombardi.  "He belongs in a Kings uniform."

    City Recognizes KHTS For Being Named ‘2006 Small Business of the Year’

    The Santa Clarita City Council recognized Carl and Jeri Goldman of KHTS for being named ‘2006 Small Business of the Year’ during a June 27th presentation at City Hall. Assemblyman Keith Richman made the official presentation on May 30th, 2006 in Sacramento.
