    Pedophile Fears In The SCV

    Best defense against child predators is to be proactive

    A website in the Los Angeles area is getting a lot of media attention lately because it is run by a self described pedophile, and it ranks various places on how good they are for pre-pubescent girl watching. Two recent locations listed on the website (of many) were within the boundaries of Santa Clarita.

     

    These locations were places in which one could typically expect to find adolescents.

    In the first incident, Deputies respond to resident's complaint of a loud party and teenage drinking. Two Deputies arrested a Stevenson Ranch man after he reportedly hosted a large party in the 25200 block of Sagecrest Circle.

    Section Of Hwy 138 To Be Shut Down

    Detours listed for summer travel

    Caltrans will begin the next summer closure of State Route  138  (SR-138) for the safety improvement project beginning on June  11 through September 11, 2007.  SR-138 will remain closed during this period, 24 hours per day, seven (7) days a week, with no escorts.  The closure will take place from just east of State Route 2 (SR-2) east toward Hess Rd. (between I-15 and SR-2).  Two separate summer closures of sections of SR-138 were planned for 2006/2007 to expedite the work.
