    Next, an aerosol can was found in the cafeteria.

    Gang member fired two shots

    After follow up investigation, deputies from the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff Station's Career Offenders Burglary Robbery Apprehension Team (COBRA) arrested German Huanosta, MH/23, of Newhall in connection with a shooting incident that occurred near San Fernando Road and Valle Del Oro on Wednesday, July 11, 2007.

    McKeon Secures Defense Funds For Santa Clarita

    Recently, the House passed the Defense Appropriations Bill, which will grant money to the Santa Clarita Valley.

    Today, Congressman Howard P. “Buck” McKeon confirmed that national security funds to the Santa Clarita Valley were secured in the recently passed  House Defense Appropriations bill.  

    The bill includes the following projects:

    10 COC Students Participate in Getty Sponsored Exhibition

    10 College of the Canyons students were selected to participate in a student photography project called “Where We Live: Student Perspectives.”
