Yes I Can is an organization started by the William S. Hart Union High School District in 1999 to reach out to at-risk, socially marginalized and disabled students, especially those with Autism.

The Meltdown was a two-stage,festival style concert, featuring nationally recognized performers, such as Static Pulse, Cherri Bomb, Papafish, and The Good Rebels. Local artists also exhibited their original drawings, paintings, photographs and sculptures.

Sponsor's of the event included KHTS AM-1220, SCVTV, Jersey Mike's, Hyatt Valencia and the SCV Youth Project.

The Meltdown events seek to highlight the common love that teenagers have for music, as a step toward social inclusion and understanding for those who may be deemed
outcasts by society.

Yes I Can students and their peer mentors work for months to organize, plan, prepare and produce each Meltdown, working alongside concert professionals

One hundred percent of proceeds from admission charged at the door goes back to funding next year’s Meltdown.
