Vayu Yoga in Newhall hosting event to celebrate their one year anniversary with complimentary sessions and live music, among other activities.
Vayu Yoga is celebrating its one-year anniversary Friday from 6-9 p.m. and Saturday from noon to 3 p.m. The studio is located at 24353 Main St. in Old Town Newhall.

“The event is a celebration to thank our members for the past year and to welcome new members,” said Wendy Hassenpflug, owner of Vayu Yoga.
Guests can enjoy complimentary yoga and pilates trainings.
Due to the anniversary celebration, Vayu Yoga will be offering many specials on their class packages that will last through the month which can be purchased online or at the event, according to a Vayu Yoga news release.
Other activities also include Henna painting, aromatherapy, live music Friday night, demonstrations, free classes and a prize raffle.
While the event is free, the henna paintings and intuitive readings are donation-based.
Vayu Yoga specializes many related stretching and therapeutic practices some include floor-based yoga, aerial yoga, YogaWall and Pilates.
Also offering many styles and levels of yoga, such as restorative, meditation, gentle and therapeutic yoga.
Pre-registration for the event is available to reserve a complimentary session on their website. Due to space limitation it is encouraged to register soon and students must be at least 18 years or older.
Hassenpflug hosts “Vibrant Living with Vayu Yoga” on KHTS AM 1220 Tuesdays from 11 a.m. to noon.
