Update: Brush Fire At Seco Canyon And Evergreen Lane Knocked Down

UPDATED AT 1:50 P.M.

The brush fire at Seco Canyon Road and Evergreen Lane in Saugus was reported 100 percent contained at 1:39 p.m. on Monday, according to Los Angeles County Fire Inspector Anthony Akins. 

Final size was one-quarter acre. Fire crews are currently engaged in mop-up.

ORIGINAL STORY

Los Angeles County Fire personnel are responding to a quarter-acre brush fire near Seco Canyon Road and Evergreen Lane in Saugus, initially reported at 1:00 p.m. on Monday.

No structures are currently threatened and no injuries have been reported, according to Fire Department officials.

There is no containment at this time.
