Troop Real Estate Santa Clarita is hosting a free shredding service for the community at their local office Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Paul Gonzales, Branch Manager of Troop Real Estate Santa Clarita, said there is a large demand for shredding at his real estate office and he wanted to extend the service to the community.

“We are shredding any documents of importance,” Gonzales said. “Any confidential bank notes or other important documents; everything will be shredded.”

Gonzales said this is the third annual The Shredders Are Here event that is paid for by Troop Real Estate.

“We’ve been doing it for three years now and we’re always looking for something that’s community minded,” Gonzales said. “Since its a service we use, we thought we could bring it to the community once a year.”

Troop Real Estate’s free shredding is taking place at 23822 Valencia Boulevard and is open to anyone interested in their free shredding service.
