Los Angeles County Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich is again sponsoring the Summer Beach Bus, taking people back and forth to Santa Monica Beach.
“The summer beach bus provides families a convenient, low-cost alternative to driving to the beach on summer days,” Antonovich said.
The discount service runs June 12 through September 2 on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Labor Day, and costs $4 per round trip for children and adults. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Senior citizens and people with disabilities pay $2 per round trip.
The bus stops at the Castaic Sports Complex in Castaic at 9 a.m. and Richard Rioux Memorial Park in Stevenson Ranch at 9:30 a.m. on the way to Santa Monica. It leaves Santa Monica at 3:30 p.m.
Reservations are recommended to ensure availability and can be made up to one week in advance. Click here to reserve your spot.
