SCVEDC Announces Economic & Real Estate Conference

The 2013 Santa Clarita Valley Economic & Real Estate Outlook conference, presented by the Santa Clarita Valley Economic Development Corporation and College of the Canyons, is scheduled for Thursday, February 21 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency in Valencia.According to SCVEDC CEO Jonas Peterson, the conference will cover the national, state and local economic forecast, with a special focus on the California state budget and how recent legislative action will affect our state economy.

The SCVEDC has invited three of Southern California’s leading economists, keynote speaker Dr. Mark Schneipp of The California Economic Forecast, Dr. Bill Watkins, director of Cal Lutheran University’s Center for Economic Research and Forecasting, and Jason Sisney of California’s Legislative Analyst’s Office.
