“Both men are great examples of how offering leadership, vision and ‘hands on’ help can make a difference in many lives,” the news release stated. “The Santa Clarita Valley is an even better place to live because of their great work serving others.”

Blazer is being honored for his work with Family Promise, a nationwide faith-based program that assists homeless families. Davis will be honored for his work with “Bridge to Home,” a Santa Clarita Valley homeless shelter.

The public is invited to attend the event, which is set to be held at a private residence and will feature wine tasting from Geissinger Winery, musical entertainment and food.

Attendees can bid on several silent and live auction items, including a behind-the-scenes tour at the Space Shuttle Endeavor, weekend Mammoth Mountain condo, one-week timeshare in Puerta Vallarta and more.

Fiddles, Vittles and Wine benefits the programs and ministries of Valencia United Methodist Church, including local and international outreach ministries such as Project Chacocente in Nicaragua, Tirzah International in Burundi, Bridge to Home and Family Promise of Santa Clarita, according to the news release.
