The “Santa Colorita Run” is a timed and un-timed 5K for all ages, designed to celebrate health, happiness, individuality and a spirit of giving back.

There is only one rule for this race, according to an SCV Chamber press release, “Wear something white, anything white and maybe some goggles, ’cause you’re gonna’ get ‘rainbowed.’”

At the end of every kilometer, family members, supporters and volunteers will douse runners with brilliantly colored non-toxic corn starch.

The finish line will feature a gigantic and explosive, “Color Festival”, where a finale brilliantly colored powder will be released, creating a kaleidoscope across the runners.

Those interested in participating can register online, here, or to learn about sponsorship opportunities, contact the Chamber at 661-702-6977. For more information, visit the website or Facebook page.
