The Small Business Development Center at College of the Canyons is hosting an intensive one-day workshop to help local businesses optimize and market their websites and increase their online presence.

Taught by SBDC Advisor Tora Brown and and KHTS AM-1220’s own Carl Goldman, the workshop will be held at the COC University Center from 8 to 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 18.
Participants will learn how to utilize Google Places to reach customers, about the new tool Google Panoramic Photos and how to format a website to achieve critical, long-lasting organic search term results.
In addition, SBDC staff will share with those business owners who don’t already have a website, how to set up an inexpensive, powerful website through Google.
Cost is $35 per person and $2 for parking.
