The recruitment will provide information about employment opportunities with Lo-Q, a company that provides electronic, virtual queuing solutions to theme parks across the country including Six Flags Magic Mountain, according to Marylin Jimenaz, an administrative assistant at the Santa Clarita WorkSource Center.
“They are going to do one-on-one interviews,” said Jimenaz, “The company is called Lo-Q and they’re seeking cashiers and ride attendants.”
Available positions also include operators of the Flash Pass, a virtual ride reservation system that electronically holds guests’ place in line reducing the amount of wait time for select rides.
Competitive wages start at $8.75 with additional incentives, which may include performance and sale-based commission, free Flash Pass rentals, free admission to the park on days off, among other perks.
“They will hire at hourly wages and continue to give hours after the summer season,” said Jimenaz.
Job seekers must have basic math and accounting skills, be able to lift or move 25 pounds, have reliable transportation, and be able to work days, evening, weekends, and holidays.
“Anyone who is interested in attending should be prepared to interview,” Jimenaz said.
Anyone more than 16-years-old is eligible to attend.
Interested applicants should bring a copy of their resume and a state issued identification such as a driver’s license, and Social Security Card or passport to the recruitment.
The event will be held at the College of the Canyons University Center in Suite 250, located at 26455 Rockwell Canyon Road.
Parking will be free from 9 a.m. to noon anywhere on lot 14.
