The Santa Clarita Valley Chamber of Commerce presents an informative luncheon on being prepared if your business experiences a “disaster”.
The informative luncheon, sponsored by the Hacker Law Group, will be held Thursday April 4 at the Hyatt Regency Valencia from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM and will include a panel discussion on “Disaster Planning – When you might wish you didn’t have business partners.”

The panel includes Jeff Hacker, of Hacker Law Group, Chris Hamilton, of Arxis, and Mike McCaffrey of New York Life. The luncheon will inform business owners and the community on how to handle disasters within your company and/or business.
“Whether there is a death or an accident where an employee becomes disabled or injured, we will discuss how to handle the situation,” Hacker said.
Along with planning for “disasters”, businesses that are ready to sell or owners that will be retiring need to be able to plan for a successful succession and the luncheon will give a better idea on how to do that, Hacker said.
The cost to attend the luncheon will be $45 for chamber members and $50 for non-members. The Chamber is offering full tables of 10 for $450.
